Prior to her work in family practice, Valerie thrived in urgent care settings, honing her skills in quick diagnosis and efficient patient flow. Her background as a psychiatric nurse with over ten years of experience equipped her with strong counseling and medication management expertise. She believes in treating the whole person and is eager to contribute her skills to a practice that values patient-centered care.
In addition to her clinical experience, Valerie is certified by the AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner and holds active licenses as an RN and APRN in Missouri. Valerie is an active member of the AANP and Delta Epsilon Iota honor society.
Valerie holds a Master of Nursing from the University of Central Missouri, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Central Michigan. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with distinction from the University of Arizona.

Valerie Jones is a positive and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, comprehensive care to families and individuals of all ages. With over 12 years of family practice experience, she consistently works to develop individualized care plans in partnership with her patients to promote healthy lifestyles and address health concerns.
Over the course of her career, Valerie has accumulated diverse and extensive experience in family and urgent care settings. Prior to joining KC Full Circle, she served at Family Health Specialists in Lee's Summit, MO, where she treated patients of all ages for acute and chronic health conditions, performing minor surgical procedures, and providing telemedicine visits. Previously, she worked at Consiglio Wellness Center in Blue Springs, MO, where she provided triage, clinical assessment, and urgent care procedures. Prior to that, she was a single provider at Take Care Health Services in Lee's Summit, MO, offering comprehensive care for scheduled and walk-in patients.
